Dipped in Art CPP - Special Support Grant

Dipped in Art, a free art program that was offered to South Dallas youth, was an opportunity for kids to work with local artist, Jessica L Bell and Robert Cooper, on developing an art portfolio. Each lesson focused on different artist, art careers, and mediums. This program was funded by the Dallas office of Cultural Affairs through their CPP - Special Support Grant.

The idea of this new program in South Dallas stemmed from past projects that Artist Jessica L Bell has offered across the city of Dallas. Past projects include, Project Hope, free art lessons offered to homeless families and those from low socioeconomic backgrounds in 2017 on Ross Avenue and A program of the Arts, in collaboration with other volunteers, music and art lessons were offered to refugee students in East Dallas in 2018.
